Insight Recovery Home is an affordable sober living facility located north of Boston owned and operated by members of the 12 step sober community.

We are dedicated to providing a safe place for individuals to recover from drug addiction and alcoholism. We provide a home where people can get well and ease their way back into society. We encourage our guests to get back to work, build friendship and family relationships, and learn new tools to deal with their problems.

There is a growing sober community rising up through Massachusetts and we would like to introduce our guests. We provide group house meetings with members from the community and also have our guests go to outside AA meetings.

Our Program

  • 12 step program

  • AA Meetings

  • Group in-house meetings

  • Random Drug Testing

  • Weekly goals

  • Meditation

  • Accountability

Our philosophy is based off the 12 steps found in Alcoholics Anonymous. Early recovery can be difficult all alone which is why we offer a structured environment where each guest is held accountable and shown a new way to work through their cravings and problems. We offer one on one sponsorship along with peer groups to build community and accountability.

About the Owner

My name is Steve and I'm an Alcoholic and a Drug Addict. Drug addiction and alcoholism took a toll on my life for over 10 years. The anxiety, depression, and ruined relationships along with the substances were completely unmanageable. I have been in and out of programs and sober living facilities trying to apply a solution to my life. Of all the treatment I was given, I found the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous to be that solution. I have relapsed many times, over and over again. It wasn’t until I continued with the program and really dedicated my life to helping others that the promises of recovery and sobriety came true. I based our recovery home off my own experience in sober living. Working on spiritual growth, integrating back into society with work, mending relationships with family and friends, and most importantly staying sober. My goal is to give men the same opportunity I was given to improve their situation and change their lives.

We understand sober living may not be affordable for everyone. Please check out our nonprofit page which provides scholarships for sober living and wellness.
